Gabriel Platica awarded tenure with Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra.2/2/2009Scholar and violinist Gabriel Platica has been awarded a tenured position with the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra. Starting in January 2009 the New Orleans based orchestra will perform in the newly renovated Mahilia Jackson Theatre. The Orchestra celebrated its new home with concerts featuring Itzakh Perlman and Placidio Domingo.
