Foundation Receives Loan of Unique Carcassi Violin

The Foundation has received the loan of a Carcassi violin made in Florence in 1760. The instrument, owned by a collector, has been placed with the Foundation for three years to asure that it is actively played during that time. "This is one of the finest instruments which has been entrusted to the Foundation" said Foundation President Curtis Peterson. The Carcassi has been placed with one of the Foundation's Scholars.
