Neff, Rick

Atlanta-born violist Rick Neff began studying the viola at the age of 11. He earned his Bachelor of Music at Georgia State University, where he studied with Tania Maxwell Clements and served as principal violist of the orchestra. He is now pursuing his Master’s degree in Viola Performance at Northwestern University’s Bienen School of Music, where he has served as principal of the orchestra and is studying with Roland Vamos. He spends his summers in Bellingham, Washington as a member of the Bellingham Festival of Music.
